Baked Salmon

I shared this recipe in a blog post about how I’ve upped my Omega-3 intake. This is the recipe I make every Monday night, and I eat the leftovers throughout the week. Simple and solid.

Active Time: 10 min

Ingredients:

Wild caught salmon
Kosher salt
Ground black pepper

Steps:

  1. Place salmon filets on a large cutting board and cut into slices
  2. Salt salmon 30 minutes before placing on grill or in oven
  3. Preheat grill or oven to 425º
  4. Lightly sprinkle salmon with black pepper and place on foil-lined tray
  5. Place on grill/oven at 425º for 8-12 minutes (until internal salmon temp is 145º)
  6. Remove from grill/oven and let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving
  7. Top with butter if desired before serving
