Beef Bone Broth
I’ve always heard great things about the health benefits of bone broth, and I love steak and bone marrow. It only seemed fitting to use the scraps.

Ingredients:
Beef bones
Beef scraps/fat (optional)
Salt
Spices (I like garlic and onion)
Water
Steps:
- Fill a crockpot or slow cooker half full of bones and scraps and spread them out
- Generously sprinkle salt and spices into the crockpot
- Fill crockpot just enough to cover bones
- Set crockpot to low and let it go for 18-24 hours – the higher the water-to-bone ratio, the longer it should go
- You can consume immediately or let it refrigerate and gelatinize, using the layer of fat on top for later cooking
