The Perfect Margarita

My wife’s favorite cocktail, the Margarita is one I had to perfect. The secret is picking not one, but two sweetening agents.

Ingredients:

2 oz tequila blanco
3/4 oz simple syrup
1/4 oz triple sec
1 oz lime juice

Steps:

Pour ingredients into shaker filled with ice
Shake for 20 seconds until chilled
Strain into rocks glass (or margarita glass) with crushed ice
Garnish with lime wedge (salting rim optional)
