Anticipation

Any day now, our baby boy could arrive. I’ve heard before that some of the greatest joys in life are the result of anticipating something good – a long-awaited vacation, a nice dinner with friends or a bucket list concert.

The anticipation contributes as much to the enjoyment of an experience as the experience itself, or so it is said.

I’m not sure if that is true in a literal sense, but I sure am enjoying waiting for this little guy.
