Indignation and outrage
We live in a world of endless inequities that have stretched throughout time and affected members of every race, religion and creed. People are broken, and you and I are not the exception.
There is a time for righteous indignation. A time to take a stand. A time to march.
If, however, you find yourself full of incessant outrage, it might be time to look closely at the person in the mirror. Outrage is not an indication of moral superiority, much less accuracy of perspective or opinion.
Outrage is a symptom of a weak mind. If you need an insincere apology in order to claim victory, you’ve already lost. Carry your indignation graciously and you will see progress. Wield outrage and you will lead a life unworthy of you.
